Tu Y Yo
When Keniel was 15 him and his brother Lil Kev started to put a small music studio together . Lil Kev was Keniel’s first rapper that helped him establish himself as a producer doing local shows in Lorain. At 17 he established his own record label called Keniel’s Productions on 28th street in Lorain. He began working with more rappers and producers until one day it was all over. Keniel’s Productions was robbed. This made things very tough for Keniel but he did not give up on his dream. He started again In 2007 thinking what could come next he decided to start writing hooks and songs. He then decided to make a group named “Las Voces De La Calle” with his brother Lil Kev. They started making major moves around Ohio doing Latin festivals, recording mixtapes, and radio interviews. In 2009 local dj’s began playing there songs. Local promoters and event coordinators for the Lorain Ohio Latin Committee began contacting them to perform at the IX Center, Latin Festivals in Cleveland, Lorain and Columbus. They have also performed in Florida, Texas ,Las Vegas ,Columbus,Detroit,Cincinnati and New York. They’ve opened up for big name artists, such as, Tony Dize, Arcangel, Plan B, Wiso G, Cosculluela, Toby Love, Wisin y Yandel, Tony Vega, and Trebol Clan. They have done two after parties for Jowell y Randy in the same night and have also recorded a song with Jomar El Caballo Negro. 2014 is the year working with known producers and artists so stay tune and lookout for us…more
